One random night, when I had the sudden urge to get out there and shoot with my camera, the same urge I very often have (tonight it was just for the fun of it), Payton was my muse. I’ve known both of the girls for a very long time, and boy they’re growing up. Payton waited anxiously for me to pick her up. A young girl, showing the signs of growing into a beautiful woman. She anxiously texted me different outfits she picked out asking me my opinion on which one she should wear. She carefully did her make-up and carefully did her hair. When I picked her up to head out to East Coulee, I found out we had another model for the evening. Her younger, beautiful, sister Cayden. The girls were a bundle of nerves. They were excited, they were nervous. They did great. Once they both got into the flow of getting in front of my lens, their smiles radiated like a 1000 watt bulb. They wanted to try different poses, they wanted to try different locations. More than that, better than anything else, they had fun. Watching these sisters flutter around excitedly, trying to decide where they wanted to stand, sit, scouring the posing suggestions in my iPhone for their next idea, was just the kind of night we all needed. It was refreshing. It was fun. We laughed, and laughed, and laughed. At the end of the evening, the girls went home with huge smiles on their faces, a funny story to tell.
After their mom saw the photographs we captured that night she had to agree these girls, they’re growing up.
As you can see, the girls are gorgeous.
For more Payton, check back in the upcoming months as we’re partnering up again to work on some material for a new campaign
